If you're insured with Co-operators and your windshield is chipped or cracked, your replacement may be covered. Here's how it works.
Check your coverage
Windshield damage is usually covered if your Co-operators policy includes comprehensive or all perils coverage. You can check this on your policy documents or in the Co-operators app or online account. You'll pay your deductible, and the rest is billed to your insurer.
How to start your claim
- Report the damage to Co-operators through their claims line, app or website
- Tell them it's a glass claim
- Let them know you'd like to use Windshield Toronto Replacement
Or skip all of that. Send us your policy number and a photo of the damage, and we'll coordinate with Co-operators for you.
Can I use my own shop with Co-operators?
In Ontario, you generally get to choose where your car is repaired. Co-operators may recommend a shop, but you can ask to use us instead.
What we do for Co-operators customers
- Confirm your coverage
- Handle the claim details and billing
- Replace your windshield at your home, work or our location
- Recalibrate your safety cameras if needed
FAQ
Will this raise my Co-operators premium?
Glass claims under comprehensive coverage aren't at-fault collisions. Ask Co-operators how a glass claim affects your policy if you're unsure.
How fast can you do it?
Often within a day or two of your claim being approved.
